“What to give a beautiful person who has everything and enjoys life to the fullest? A birthday present that is also meant to be a surprise, when of course no one must even know that something is coming…this is always a great challenge for a …
“The painting Reflections is an abstract colour reflection of a very strong figurative work that dominates the space of the study where this work was created. It is a pure abstraction of the space, seemingly resigned to shapes and forms in order to accentuate the …
“Petra has known the space of the house well for a long time. The house is architecturally modern, geometric and very austere in colours. Originally there were only a few photographs and reproductions in the house, which did not provide enough contrast and space. In collaboration with Petra, we devised and she implemented a composition in which they were replaced with Petra’s original canvases.
The painting “You inside you” is not Petra’s only painting, but it became the one that perfectly complemented the large space, which contains several other paintings in addition to a large bookcase. All the elements complement each other harmoniously in terms of colour and space. The painting is colour-wise one of the most conservative that Petra has painted and it complemented the other canvases appropriately.”

“We recently expanded the space of our private dental clinic with the idea of using the shared client space for interesting art installations. Some of the pieces were borrowed from private collectors, while others were custom installed. We approached painter Petra Skopalova to create a …
“I have always wanted my beautiful minimalist apartment to be filled with colourful original paintings. This was also the basic task for the interior architect, who sensitively hid all storage or technical spaces in white modules and accentuated only small elements with colour, which would …
“I have been following the artistic work of painter Petra Skopalová since 2017. My wife and I already own several original paintings by other artists and we always prefer the original to a reproduction or poster. Recently our second daughter was born and we decided to logically renovate and enlarge our house by adding a tasteful and functionalist extension to the living room with a fireplace and an adjoining airy dining room with high glass windows to the garden. And because we love pure geometric abstraction, we approached Petra Skopalova with a commission for 4 paintings tailored to our new interior.
Petra came to see everything in person and also drew us into the choice of the central theme of the paintings. The brief was very personal and clear to us, we love autumn and all our major life events have taken place in autumn. It was during this period that I met my wife, we had our wedding and our two daughters were born. The paintings that Petra Skopalová created for us expressed our whole story. The trilogy called Autumn Arms geometrically summarizes our acquaintance, and the separate painting called Autumn the building of our family and home. Petra worked very sensitively not only with the theme of the paintings, but also with the color assignment, which she admitted was a personal challenge for her. The result is beautiful and we can highly recommend this collaboration.”

“Until we got to know the artistic work of the painter Petra Skopalová, our interest in original paintings was rather marginal. A visit to the grand opening of her exhibition at the Kladno Cultural Centre and a personal acquaintance with this artist triggered our desire …
“I have always wanted my children to grow up surrounded by vibrant beautiful original paintings that will subtly define and colourfully illustrate their childhood kingdom. An entire wall of the children’s room has been set aside for the painting, making the image itself an unanchored …
“After I took the keys to my new apartment and walked into the generous, spacious, sun-filled living room overlooking the river and greenery, I knew this space had to be dominated by a large-scale, airy original painting of vibrant colours and light geometric shapes. The interior designer was therefore given a clear brief, to minimise the furnishings in terms of number of furniture pieces and colour scheme. He deliberately used only the colours contained in the bespoke work on the minimalist accessories. The painting entitled Wind, which was painted for this space, can thus beautifully interact with the entire space and act as a unified cosy airy whole. I love the energy, originality and endless spacious communication that a well-chosen original painting can add to any home.”

We were familiar with the paintings of artist Petra Skopalova through our art contacts at New York galleries specializing in talented emerging European painters. We then approached Petra directly with the painting Spiral, which we already knew from her artwork catalogue. We wanted a painting …
“I have known the artwork of Petra Skopalová for several years and have always wished to own one of her paintings. So it was a great surprise to me when my husband and I finished our house and I was given free rein to choose …
“I received the card with the motif of the painting Drops of Joy from our mutual friend long before my husband and I even started building our family house. Once it was completed, however, I immediately knew where I wanted a beautiful original painting and what theme I wanted to portray. After moving into our house, I approached Ms. Petra and she immediately won me over with her distinctive professionalism and approach to the architectural space itself and to our visions and desires. Every meeting with her is extremely inspiring. In addition, the opportunity to influence the emerging work during the creation process, so that we can completely identify with it, absolutely thrilled me. The combination of the geometrically rendered story and the delicious colours has created a beautiful piece of artwork, which has also brightened up our new home with its appropriate placement and is a daily treat for me personally. A piece of Petra is thus still with us and I believe that the affection that the painting has created between us will grow into a friendship in the future. I’m a big fan and admirer of her.”
