Private installation – Surprise – a gift for a lifetime anniversary

“What to give a beautiful person who has everything and enjoys life to the fullest? A birthday present that is also meant to be a surprise, when of course no one must even know that something is coming…this is always a great challenge for a painter.
In the end, my theme was dance, which the birthday girl loves and is basically part of her beautiful DNA. The painting is therefore a kind of imaginary window into the moment when we are doing exactly what we love and feeling only the pure joy of the moment, which is why every glance at the painting can bring us back to that point at any time.
Dance is a beautiful gift that we can give each other every day – it is a great portion of joy, movement, but also respect. It’s a gift of a beautiful, dignified connection with our partner, a reminder of who we are and how uplifting it can be – when we sometimes just trustingly let ourselves be led and allow ourselves to lean on each other.”
