Private Instalation – Birthday gift, Villa Kladno

“I have known the artwork of Petra Skopalová for several years and have always wished to own one of her paintings. So it was a great surprise to me when my husband and I finished our house and I was given free rein to choose the main painting for our dining room. The actual process of creating a painting tailored not only to the interior of our house, but also to our family’s personal story, was also a great experience. Not only did Petra take a careful personal look at our house, the shapes and colour scheme of all the details of our interior, but she also paid great attention to our 8 year old son’s big dream of becoming an architect. She looked at all his “constructions” made of cardboard and transferred part of the construction into the picture. The result was a beautiful, very personal piece that has become a joyful part of our home.”
